Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son
of God?

I read recently about a salesman who was stuck on an elevator between floors. Nobody in the
building knew he was there. Fortunately, there was a telephone in the elevator, so the
salesman called the fire department to report his plight. While he was waiting for the fire
department and an elevator service person to free him, the salesman decided to put the time
to use. He got on the telephone. He called each of his accounts in the building, explaining
what had happened and taking their orders by phone. By the time he was released, some two
and a half hours later, he had finished all his business in the building and was on his way to
the next appointment!
There's a man who knows the secret not only of coping, but of conquering.
Have you allowed God to help you conquer your world for God's glory?
Lord Jesus, guide me as I work to impact my world with your hope. Amen.
