The hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each one to
his home, and you will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone because the Father is with me.
Remember God is with you. You are not alone.

Christians believe in a God who has revealed His nature and purpose to the world in and
through Jesus Christ. We also believe that God continues to reveal Himself, continues to act
on the stage of human history. When Jesus was no longer with the disciples, they did not feel
that God had left them. And, at Pentecost, the presence of God became richer and deeper
than ever before, as the Holy Spirit came upon them. This God who continues to reveal
Himself in the world and in the hearts of persons, Christians call "Holy Spirit."
God of peace, your presence in my life brings me peace and hope. Amen.
