Thomas answered him, "My Lord and my God!"
Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it
into my side. Stop doubting and believe. " Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
Jesus did not reveal himself to the world at large, only to those who believed. But appear to
them he did--in ways which left no doubt that he had conquered the grave. And they went out
to tell the story. Against all kinds of opposition they told the story. Nothing could stop them. No
power on earth could defeat them.

Christ's disciples were in the house together, and Thomas was with them this time. Though the
doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!"
Dear God, help me to share Christ's proclamation with all those I meet. Amen.
