He said, "Lord, I believe." And he worshiped him.
Sometimes life can be like a lemon. Life can be hard sometimes, bitter and yucky like a
lemon.
But it doesn't have to be that way. In the Bible, Jesus says that He wants us to have
better lives.
If we have Jesus in our lives and live the way He lived, then our lives can be so much
happier and
better. Just like adding sugar to the lemon juice makes it sweeter, we need to add
Jesus to our
lives to make them better. And how do we add Jesus to our lives? By praying, asking
Him to
come into our hearts and by learning His teachings in the Bible.

Have you ever bitten into a big piece of lemon? How did it taste? Ooooweee! Right?
Here's
another question: have you ever drunk lemonade? Did you like it? Aaah, much better
you say.
Which do you like better, the lemon or the lemonade? The lemonade? Why do you
like it better?
That's right, because it was sweeter. It's easy to make lemonade. You just take some
yucky, bitter
old lemon juice and add a little water and sugar then you've got sweet, good-tasting
lemonade.
All it takes is a little bit of water and sugar to make something bitter like lemon juice
taste so
good and sweet.
Loving God, thank you for the sweetness of Jesus my savior. Amen.
