Daily Devotions - A Few Moments With
God

Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you, I give people in return for you, nations in exchange for your life.
(Isaiah 43:4 NRSV)

I remember reading about a for sale ad that appeared in a newspaper. "For sale: One 52-year old husband. Never remembers anniversaries, birthdays, or special days. Seldom holds hands, hugs, kisses, or says, 'I love you.' Rarely is kind or tender. Will sell cheap. Call 555-0366. Price negotiable."

Obviously, this husband was not worth much because he was not fulfilling his call or acting upon his invitations. I wonder how much are we worth to God?

Actually, we are priceless. God needs us and our faithfulness.

Dear God, allow me to feel my great worth in you today, as I glorify you. Amen.
