And just then some people were carrying a paralyzed man lying on a bed. When
Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven."
Give God thanks today for those who have touched your life with Christian faith and love.

We remember those special people who have meant so much in our faith development. I will
never forget my favorite Sunday School teacher Tessie Stewally. She was an important part of my
development as a Christian. She made each one of us in her class feel special. I learned a lot in her
class. I especially learned a lot about God's love and how we are to love one another. Her
example was her best teaching tool.
Lord Jesus, I am so grateful for those wonderful people of faith you sent to help me know you.
Amen.
