And Jesus said to them, "Follow me and I will make you fish for people."
Well, when they finally got to the fisherman's special fishing cove. The fisherman opened the old
tackle box and pulled out a stick of dynamite. He lite it and threw it into the water. There was
such a huge blast that the two men where almost knocked out of the boat, but soon some fish
started floating to the top of the water. The fisherman started picking up all the fish and putting
them in the boat. The man in the boat got out his wallet and told the fisherman that he was under
arrest and showed him his Game Warden badge.
The fisherman seemed to be unmoved and got another sick of dynamite out of the rusty old tackle
box. He lite it then handed it to the Game Warden and said, "Now are you going to sit there or
are you going to fish."
That is our call as well!

A few years ago, I heard a story about a fisherman who was very successful in catching lots of
fish. Then one day there came a man who was curious about how the fisherman was able to catch
so many fish, so he got to know the fisherman and ask him if he could go fishing with him. The
fisherman said lets go. When they climbed into the fishing boat the man became even more
curious about the success of the fisherman, because he saw no fishing gear. The only thing he saw
was a rusty old tackle box in the corner of the boat.
Dear God, may I be a good fisherman of your people, as I share your hope and love. Amen.
