Yes, brother, let me have this benefit from you in the Lord! Refresh my heart in
Christ.
The second woman said, "When I go upstairs, I can't remember whether I'm going up for
something or coming down for something."
The third woman said, "I'm lucky, I guess, I don't have those problems. But I do have one good
thing happen to me when I forgetful. I can always find my car in a parking lot, because it's the
one with the headlights on."
We all at one time or another have moments of forgetfulness. But it is important that we not
forget the one who gives us all our moments.
(Philemon 1:20
NRSV)
Memory can be a tricky thing. Today, we call them senior moments! You may know the story
about three women who were talking one day. The first said, "Sometimes I go to the refrigerator
and forget what I need by the time I get there."
Lord Jesus, may I never forget about the light and love you have given to my heart. Amen.
