"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life."
(John 3:16 NRSV)

God loves us so much that God doesn't want to punish us, instead God offers us grace, love, and forgiveness. When I was in High School, I felt God nudging me to read the Bible from cover to cover. Some how I was able to accomplish that great task in three years. One of the greatest benefits of reading the Bible from cover to cover is knowing the whole story of God interacting with creation. The Bible story is about a God who loves us and will do anything to maintain a relationship with us. God even came to us in the form of Jesus Christ who died for us, so that we would not have to die to sin.

God has offered us love and grace so that we can have an eternal relationship with God.

Dear God, as you touch me with your special love, may I allow it to flow through me to those who hurt. Amen.
