I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that lived first in your grandmother Lois
and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, lives in you.
Yes, today is Mother's Day. It is a special day to celebrate the example our mothers.
The greatest example all of us have is to follow Jesus Christ, and often it is our mothers who
show us the way to Jesus Christ.
Thank you for your sacrifice!
What can you do today to lift up your mother in Jesus' name?

I remember a cartoon where the father and mother were working hard in the yard trying to get rid
of all the dandelions. As they both discussed how awful the yard look with all the dandelions, their
little girl came running up to them and said, "Look what I picked for you mommy! Aren't they
pretty? God sent then just in time for Mother's Day!" Then the little girl hands mom a fist full of
dandelions. What an example of love!
Loving God, thank you for my mother. Amen.
