You may know someone like Ashley. As a child, Ashley was impassioned in her insistence that
mom and dad pick all those little dehydrated onion squares from every McDonald's Happy Meal.
Ashley's parents tried everything. Commands. "Ashley eat those onions!" History. "You ate
onions when you were smaller. You love Gran's spaghetti and it has onions."Appeals to her
desire to be grown up. "Grow up kid! Eat the onions! All adults like onions." They even tried
begging. "Please! Cut mom and dad some slack and down that burger!"
God of onions, may I put you passionately first in my life, moment by moment. Amen.
