God loves us so much that God doesn't want to punish us, instead God offers us
grace, love, and forgiveness. When I was in High School, I felt God nudging me to
read the Bible from cover to cover. Some how I was able to accomplish that great
task in three years. One of the greatest benefits of reading the Bible from cover to
cover is knowing the whole story of God interacting with creation. The Bible story
is about a God who lives with us and will do anything to maintain a relationship
with us. God even came to us in the form of Jesus Christ who died for us, so that we
would not have to die an eternal death.
God of peace, you touch me daily with your reaching out to me. Strengthen my character so that I
may touch others with your presence. Amen.
