If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God
raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Jesus knew the key to living an abundant Christian life was the heart. One of the
Beatitudes--which someone has called 'the Beautiful Attitudes'--is, "Blessed are the pure in heart
for they shall see God." This simple sentence has the ability to impact in a positive way the
totality of the human experience. In our spiritual journey, if our heart is sick, our whole life is
affected.
