from their sins."
Are you searching for Jesus in this season of peace, hope, and love?
John 3:16 says to us, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone
who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life." When we believe in Jesus our lives
will turn to the eternal life full of peace, hope, and love.
Matthew 1:23 reminds us, "Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall name
him Emmanuel," which means, "God is with us." This Christmas season reminds us that through
the birth of Jesus Christ, God came to be with us.
Jesus is the key to our peace, hope, and love.

One of my favorite pieces of irreverent humor concerns a sign outside a of a church. The sermon
titles for the coming Sunday were listed: 11:00 a.m. "Jesus: Walking on the Water"; 7:00 p.m.
"Searching for Jesus."
Dear God, fill me with peace, hope, and love through your son Jesus. Amen.
