Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and mind.
This story is right in say that our life is a test, but not all tests are bad or hard. After all, Jesus is
God's way of helping us pass the test of life. And no, it is not always easy to follow our savior,
but our faithfulness will be rewarded with eternity.
There is one thing about this story that is wrong. We have received instructions on what to do and
where to go! The instruction book is the Bible. It is not always easy to follow or understand, but
we do have a road map. The real question is are we going to follow it? And are we going to teach
others about it? ...especially our children?
Ron Newhouse
(Psalms 26:2
NRSV)
Someone had drawn a graffiti radio with a message coming out of the speaker. The message said,
"This life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been an actual life you would have received
instructions as to what to do and where to go."
Loving God, I'm thankful this life is only a test. I'm thankful you sent me a savior to pass the test
of life. And I'm thankful you sent me life's instruction book the bible. Amen.
