So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if
we do not give up.
(Galatians 6:9
NRSV)
But every age has had its pressures and stresses and busy people. The Paul once exhorted the
Galatians, "So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we
do not give up."
It is important in our business to make time for God, others, and doing what is right.

In a book store, there were two signs which most of us understand too well. One said, "The
hurrier I go, the behinder I get!" And the other said, "I'm so far behind that if anything else were
to happen, it would be two weeks before I could worry about it." I suppose when we are in this
predicament, we probably imagine that we are having a harder time of it than other generations
have had. Maybe this is true, considering the complex, pressure-packed world in which we live.
Prayer: Dear God, guide me as I work to keep my focus on what is really important.
Amen.
