Yet even now, says the LORD, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with
weeping, and with mourning. (Joel 2:12

Our Bible says it is ok to weep and show our emotions. Paul wrote in Romans
12:15, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep." And our
scripture reading says in verse 12 & 13, "Yet even now," says the Lord, "return to
me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; rend your
hearts and not your clothing." And in verse 17, it says, "Between the vestibule and
the alter let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep."
It's all right to weep and show our God given emotions.

Some of us have the moto: Laugh and the world laughs with you. Cry and you get
all wet.
Prayer: Loving God, thank you for the emotions you have given to me. Help me to use
them to bring wholeness to my life. Amen.
