Two people met at a fellowship dinner. "What do you do for a living?" one asked the other. "I
work in a clock factory," was the reply.
"Oh? And what exactly do you do?" the first one asked. "Just stand around all day making faces,"
she said with a smile.
What do we stand around all day and do? Often we become so consumed with the busyness of
our days that we leave little or no time for simply enjoying God's gift of life. God wants us to live
joyfully every day whatever our circumstances may be. Are you enjoying your relationship with
God?
Prayer: Dear God, thank you for the joy you bring to my life. Amen.
