That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and
grounded in love. (Ephesians 3:17

I remember an author who was asked to speak at a luncheon. During the meal, the
president of the organization came up to the speaker and asked, "Are you ready to
speak, or should we let them enjoy themselves for a while?"
I believe we can enjoy life and at the same time listen to a good speech or sermon. I
also believe it is important that we live life to its fullest. We can have our cake and
eat it too, but we must be prepared. And being prepared means that we are closely
connected to a savior named Jesus Christ. With Christ in our hearts we will be
prepared for life!
Prayer: Dear Jesus, carry me always close to you, and may I never stray to far away from
your salvation. Amen.
