Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from
God, so that we may understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. (1 Corinthians 2:12

In a Ziggy cartoon, it shows Ziggy putting up a canvas to paint on. He stands in
front of it waiting for an inspiration of something to paint. Finally, a light goes off in
his head and the cartoon shows a light bulb with emphases right above his head. The
next frame shows him painting his great inspiration. Then the last frame displays his
painting, which is a light bulb.
In using our talents and abilities, our inspirations may be plain like Ziggy's, or they
may be really innovative. The most important thing about our gifts from God is that
we must use them to honor God.
Dear Jesus, thank you for the many gifts and blessings you give me. Move me to
use those gifts to be in ministry to those in need of your love. Amen.
